Hi all. I am mainly after the long horizontal Wessex fitting that goes from the bottom front of the bike to the bottom rear of the chair. It has about a 45 degree bend with threaded internal section. I would be interested in other Wessex fittings as well please, to give me a bit more choice of fittings.

Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,
how did you get on with the fittings.
I've just brought a Wessex, and need to work out how all the fittings work.
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy.

The photos of the outfit were in the Autumn Extra of Outlook.

I did not manage to get the horizontal fitting that was needed but cobbled two female fittings together with a threaded section in the middle with lock nuts. This arrangment must be better because the fitting is straight, and gives more adjustment if needed. The other 6 are standard Wessex. You probably know that the fittings are in an opposite 'Z' shape, the front fitting starts from the bike top to sidecar top, then to bike bottom and then to sidecar bottom. Hope this is clear enough.

Let me know how you get on. We are based in Kent - where are you. I would come round if you were not to far away.

Good luck, Dave
